PLURAL VOICES: CONTEMPORARY FRANCOPHONE LITERATURE YOUTH WORKSHOP
General Objectives:
1. Encourage literary and creative engagement among young Francophones.
2. Promote literary works by authors of Francophone immigrant backgrounds.
3. Create a space for reading, writing, and intercultural exchange.
Goal: Foster the publication and dissemination of works by young artists.
VOIR AU-DELÀ / MOVING BEYOND
Main Objective:
Conduct research involving a representative sample of over 1,000 Indigenous and African artists in Canada to analyze the impact of stereotypes and systemic discrimination on their artistic practices and professional success, and to develop concrete educational solutions in response.
Intended Impact:
• Contribute to the better inclusion of Indigenous and African artists within the Canadian arts community.
• Transform dominant narratives and promote equitable recognition.
• Stimulate the diversification of artistic practices and collaborations.
• Encourage arts institutions to commit to more equitable and representative practices.
