This course aimed at young girls and young women is a favorite pastime but one that pays off because the participants and sometimes even the participants will learn to knit for their own needs and those of their families.

The concepts covered in this course include: casting on stitches, knit stitch – garter stitch, purl stitch – stockinette stitch. Then, participants will see how to make ribs, bind off stitches and bring in threads.

They will learn, for example, how to make washable makeup remover wipes (without a sewing machine), knit the seed stitch, a knitting first name, the fern stitch, the point neckline, the trinity stitch, etc.
