In the pre-arrival phase, the GAFFO very present in social networks, online helps all candidates who are still in their country of origin to access all the resources they need to legally immigrate to Canada. We have a branch in West Africa where all these departing candidates can refer to it. Once they arrive in Canada, the GAFFO helps new immigrants with appropriate services such as filling out forms, translating documents, interpreting, finding safe housing, finding schools for their children, learning English, access to health services etc. Every day, our volunteers help young immigrant girls and women so that they integrate harmoniously into Canada.
