Come and discover the cultural riches of African tales, legends and myths.

These three intertwined elements are often used to craft scenes and dialogues in African plays. Participants in this course will learn to draw upon African tales, legends, and myths to create modern stories tailored to their experiences in exile, as well as to write engaging dialogues. They will also explore the myths and traditional tales of their own cultures from Africa or the Caribbean, engaging in unique philosophical reflections. Through this process, they will discover the boundless richness of Afro-Caribbean cultural heritage, even in today’s modern world.
